For decades, asking the state of Florida to fund every student’s education seemed like a pipe dream. Now, thanks to House Speaker Paul Renner and Senate President Kathleen Passidomo, Florida is considering the most transformational piece of legislation we will see in our lifetime: K-12 scholarships for all children in our state. Sign our petition to let our elected officials know we support scholarships for all.

Dear [Elected Official],
We respectfully ask you to support HB1/SB202, which will cement Florida’s status as the national leader in school choice and provide scholarship access for every K-12 student in the state of Florida.
Supporting every Floridian child in their education should be a priority for our State. We believe that all children learn differently. We believe that parents know their children best and should have the right to choose the school that best fits each child’s needs. Our State’s education funding should reflect those beliefs.
While we advocate for scholarships for every child, we are also strong proponents of our public schools. Funding every child through school choice in no way detracts from public school funding. On the contrary, funding for public schools is at a record high and enrollment has only increased alongside the growth of the scholarship programs. Florida’s school districts generate nearly $10 billion annually in local taxes exclusively to support public schools.
Both systems can flourish independently of each other. It’s not only possible, it’s critical.
On behalf of Florida’s children, thank you very much for your support.

Or you could just copy below and paste this message: I respectfully ask you to support HB1/SB202, which will cement Florida’s status as the national leader in school choice and provide scholarship access for every K-12 student in the state of Florida. Supporting every Floridan child in their education should be a priority for our state. It’s not only possible, but also critical for the future of our children. On behalf of Florida’s children, thank you very much for your support.

- RICHARD CLAXTON 22 days agoI respectfully ask you to support HB1/SB202, which will cement Florida’s status as the national leader in school choice and provide scholarship access for every K-12 student in the state of Florida. Supporting every Floridan child in their education should be a priority for our state. It’s not only possible, but also critical for the future of our children. On behalf of Florida’s children, thank you very much for your support.

Having scholarships for all will make it competitive for the funds thus making the schools preform at a higher level so individuals will choose their schools. Schools will become better and the children will receive a better education. This will help those stuck in failing schools to have the ability to attend better schools. This bill will help achieve well educated individuals of the future.

- Rachel Wiggin 22 days agoI respectfully ask you to support HB1/SB202, which will cement Florida’s status as the national leader in school choice and provide scholarship access for every K-12 student in the state of Florida. Supporting every Floridan child in their education should be a priority for our state. It’s not only possible, but also critical for the future of our children. On behalf of Florida’s children, thank you very much for your support.

- Owen Georg 22 days agoI respectfully ask you to support HB1/SB202, which will cement Florida’s status as the national leader in school choice and provide scholarship access for every K-12 student in the state of Florida. Supporting every Floridan child in their education should be a priority for our state. It’s not only possible, but also critical for the future of our children. On behalf of Florida’s children, thank you very much for your support.

- Brian McKinney 23 days agoState scholarships are a critical part for all students to have a school choice. Under a proposed bill in Florida, every K-12 student in Florida would be eligible for a state scholarship next year. This would make a major difference for our schools, parents, and community long-term. It is my belief there should be bi-partisan support for HB1/SB202!
